We are looking forward to welcoming over 70 delegates to this exciting conference.  We will hear papers and discuss posters exploring  the benefits and challenges of taking an ethnographically informed approach to researching language.

The conference is held at the Barnes-Wallis Building, University of Manchester, Sackville Street, close to Manchester Piccadilly Station.

The conference does not include lunch.  Manchester Piccadilly Station is a very good place to stop and eat your lunch – you could try Carluccio’s on the first floor – or buy a take away to eat at the conference venue.

Plenary speakers are  Mariette de Haan, University of Utrecht and Fiona Copland, Aston University with Angela Creese, University of Birmingham.

Registration through the University of Manchester online store EELC5 page  is now closed.

Follow our twitter account @EELC5 and will be using #eelc5 during the conference.
